Next, the Joint Committee on the Maintenance of Public Buildings in the Quebec City Region will submit a request to the Minister of Labor so that procedures for adopting the Decree can begin. The wage and monetary provisions will come into effect once the Decree has been published for the second time in the Official Gazette following its adoption by the Council of Ministers. However, several steps are required under the Decree Act before reaching this final stage.
Stronger together! Remember that these three words were the basis of our action to obtain a collective agreement that reflects the efforts you put into your work. They will continue to guide us going forward so that the new decree is adopted as soon as possible. We will keep you informed of developments in this matter in a future press release.
