Talks with McGill (trades) focus on work-life balance

19 February 2015

At the February 3 session with McGill trades, the parties pursued their discussion of temporary alternative work arrangements (TAWA), more particularly as it relates to work-life balance. The union agreed to present a written counter-proposal on this matter at the next meeting, set for March 11.

The 4 bargaining units involved in these negotiations are employees from trades and from powerhouse downtown, and employees from trades and from powerhouse Macdonald campus, represented by SEU, local 800 (Service Employees Union, local section 800, affiliated with the Quebec Labour Federation).
