After the tax reductions and electoral speeches claiming a balanced budget, the government and their “experts”, now echoed by their partisan media are attempting to instill in the population a series of preconceived ideas:

• Quebec is too far into debt;
• We are living beyond our means;
• Public Services are experiencing problems;
• The budget must be balanced at all costs;
• The role of the State must be diminished;
• We must streamline the parliamentary body
