Photo Contest – 800 Gratitude

1. Organizer

The contest is organized by the Service Employees Union, Local 800 (SEU 800), located at 920 Port Royal East, Montreal, Quebec H2C 2B3.

2. Eligibility

The contest is open to all active SEU 800 members residing in Quebec who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of SEU 800 and anyone living in the same household are not eligible to participate.

3. Contest period

The contest begins on October 13th, 2025, at 12:01 a.m. (ET) and ends on October 21st, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (ET). Winners will be randomly drawn on October 22nd, 2025.

4. How to enter

To participate, members must submit an original photo using the web form:

• Only one entry per person is allowed.
• The photo must be taken by the participant or submitted with the explicit authorization of the photographer.
• By entering, participants agree that their photo may be used for promotional purposes by SEU 800 (see section 9).

5. Prizes

Five (5) winners will be randomly selected. Each winner will receive a $50 gift card. Prizes are non-exchangeable and non-transferable.

6. Winner selection

Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received before the deadline. The draw will be conducted under the supervision of SEU 800.

7. Winner notification

Winners will be contacted by email or phone no later than 7 days after the end of the contest. If a winner does not respond within five (5) business days, another participant will be selected.

8. General conditions

SEU 800 reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any person who violates these rules or attempts to tamper with the contest.

9. Usage rights

By submitting a photo, the participant authorizes SEU 800 to use it, along with their first name, work sector, and/or workplace, for promotional purposes on its digital platforms, publications, or events, without additional compensation.

10. Responsibilities

SEU 800 is not responsible for any error, technical failure, or issue beyond its control that may affect participation or the administration of the contest.

11. Privacy
