After the tax reductions and electoral speeches claiming a balanced budget, the government and their “experts”, now echoed by their partisan media are attempting to instill in the population a series of preconceived ideas:
- Quebec is too far into debt;
- We are living beyond our means;
- Public Services are experiencing problems;
- The budget must be balanced at all costs;
- The role of the State must be diminished;
- We must streamline the parliamentary body
