Mission, vision and values
Mission
The 800 brings together, supports and defends thousands of workers across Quebec.Through collective action, bargaining and solidarity, we work to improve working conditions, protect our members’ rights and help build workplaces that are fairer, more humane and more respectful.
Rooted in the realities workers face every day, our Union supports its members throughout their journey by giving them a voice, the tools they need and the power to act together.
Vision
We believe in a world of work where every person is recognized and valued, regardless of their job, background or industry. The 800 aspires to build a modern, accessible and inclusive union movement capable of responding to today’s realities while preparing for the challenges of tomorrow.
