Dear Members,

We hope you had a pleasant summer and a good holiday season. With the end of summer, the time has now come to resume negotiations for the renewal of the master collective agreement in building services. This collective agreement between the Union of Service Employees, Local 800 (UES 800), and the Corporation des entrepreneurs en entretien ménager de Québec (CEEMQ) will expire on November 1, 2025. It applies to members working in building services in one of the regions covered by the Quebec Decree.

During the initial meetings last June, the Union submitted its list of non-monetary demands. The employer side also presented its non-monetary demands. As negotiations were suspended during the summer period, they resumed on September 10 and 11 and continued on September 17, 18, and 23. Additional dates are also scheduled for October. At the next meeting scheduled for October 1, the union side is expected to submit its monetary demands.

We remind you that the members of the negotiation committee are as follows:

  • Jean-Philippe Duclos (GDI Services (Québec) S.E.C.)
  • Frédéric Ferland-Bolduc (Service Sanitaire Frontenac / Maintenance Euréka)
  • Stéphan Forcier (Derko / ServiPro)
  • Claudine Lapointe (ML Entretien Multiservices)
  • Alexis Roy, Union Representative, UES 800
  • Michel Tremblay, Union Representative, UES 800 and Union Spokesperson

Stronger together! Remember that these three words are at the core of our actions in working toward a collective agreement that reflects the effort you put into your work.

We will keep you informed of further developments in a future communication. Until then, we wish you all a wonderful autumn.

Sincerely,

Your Negotiation Committee
