Dear Members,
After a break during the summer holidays, negotiations aimed at renewing the master collective agreement for the building services sector resumed in September and are still ongoing. As a reminder, this collective agreement between the Union of Service Employees, Local 800 (UES 800), and the " la Corporation des entrepreneurs en entretien ménager de Québec (CEEMQ)" expires on November 1, 2025. It applies to members working in building services in one of the regions covered by the Quebec Decree.
During the October 1 meeting, the union party submitted its monetary demands. The employer and the union discussed these demands, and discussions continued during subsequent meetings held on October 2, 22, and 23. Another bargaining session is scheduled for October 30.
We would like to remind you that the members of the bargaining committee are as follows:
- Jean-Philippe Duclos (GDI Services (Quebec) Limited Partnership)
- Frédéric Ferland-Bolduc (Service Sanitaire Frontenac / Maintenance Euréka)
- Stéphan Forcier (Derko / ServiPro)
- Claudine Lapointe (ML Entretien Multiservices)
- Alexis Roy, UES 800 Union Representative
- Michel Tremblay, UES 800 Union Representative and Union Spokesperson
Stronger together! These three words guided our efforts to secure a collective agreement that truly reflects the work you do every day. With the result achieved, we believe that goal has been met.
We will keep you informed of the next steps and follow-up on this matter in the near future.
