Your generosity was on full display during our school supply drive, which wrapped up last August.
Thanks to your support, nearly 40 students received backpacks filled with supplies to help them start the school year on the right foot.
Our members dedicated their time and energy to preparing the backpacks. They also went the extra mile to make every dollar count and provide families with as many school supplies as possible.
A special thank you to all 800 members who participated in the drive and filled our donation boxes to the brim! Notebooks, pencils, pencil cases, backpacks and other supplies: your generosity has translated into meaningful support for families in need.
We would also like to recognize the exceptional contribution of Precise Park Link, as well as the initiative of members of the Services Roy bargaining unit, who kicked off the campaign by unanimously passing a resolution to make a donation. These contributions significantly increased the amount of school supplies we were able to provide to students.
The Women in Action Committee is extremely proud of the results of this campaign and would like to thank everyone who contributed to its success.
One thing is certain: with such an incredible show of solidarity, this initiative deserves to return next year!
