National School Support Staff Week

This week is also a time to highlight the realities faced by support staff: heavy workloads, staff shortages, job insecurity in certain positions and the need for recognition that truly reflects the importance of their role within our education system.

School support staff are at the heart of daily life in our education system. Whether they are welcoming students, maintaining school facilities, supporting youth with special needs, assisting teaching staff or keeping administrative operations running smoothly, their work is essential.
