Building Services – Quebec Region: Tentative Agreement Accepted!
1 December 2025
At a general meeting held in Quebec City on November 30, 2025, nearly 80% of members voted to ratify the tentative agreement presented by the union.
The meeting was broadcast simultaneously in several cities, including Sherbrooke, Rimouski, and Sept-Îles.

Following a 14th bargaining session on November 11, the parties reached a tentative agreement to renew the master collective agreement for building services in the Quebec City region.
It should be noted that this collective agreement between the Service Employees Union, Local 800 (SEU 800), and the Corporation des entrepreneurs en entretien ménager de Québec (CEEMQ), which expired on November 1, 2025, applies to members working in housekeeping and building maintenance in all regions covered by the Quebec Decree.
The next step will be the signing of the new collective agreement. Once the text has been fully reviewed, both parties will proceed with its signature.
We would like to thank everyone who took part in the general meeting in Quebec City and in the other regions, as well as all those who provided support and assistance with the logistics of the event.
We would also like to acknowledge the members of the bargaining committee:
- Jean-Philippe Duclos (GDI Services (Québec) S.E.C.)
- Frédéric Ferland-Bolduc (Service Sanitaire Frontenac / Maintenance Euréka)
- Stéphan Forcier (Derko / ServiPro)
- Claudine Lapointe (ML Entretien Multiservices)
- Alexis Roy, SEU 800 union representative
- Michel Tremblay, SEU 800 union representative and union spokesperson
Stronger together! These three words guided our efforts to secure a collective agreement that truly reflects the work you do every day. With the result achieved, we believe that goal has been met.
We will keep you informed of the next steps and follow-up on this matter in the near future. We also take this opportunity to wish you all Happy Holidays.
