Bulletin
They want to silence unions. We will answer with solidarity.
31 October 2025
With Bill 3, the CAQ is trying to impose its own vision of union democracy, complicate our procedures, restrict our ability to take action, and weaken our capacity to defend Quebec’s workers.
When a government-employer starts dictating the rules to those who challenge it, that’s not transparency, it’s control. And that control is aimed directly at the voice of working people.
On November 29, we will march to say no to this attack on democracy.
We will march to remind the government that unions belong to their members, not to political power.
We will march to defend our fundamental right to organize freely and speak with one voice.
We will march alongside our colleagues, loved ones, and allies to remind everyone that this law undermines the gains achieved by those who came before us, seeks to silence today’s workers, and threatens the conditions of those who will follow us.
Members of the 800 will meet at:
Mary Queen of the World Cathedral Basilica, at 1:30 p.m.
(1085 Cathedral Street, Montreal)
The departure will be from Place du Canada at 2 p.m..
Buses will depart from all across Quebec
(registration required)
In our workplaces, in the streets, and online, let’s make our message heard loud and clear:
unions will not be silenced, and Quebec’s workers will not be intimidated.
