Fonds de solidarité FTQ vote: your voice matters

29 August 2025

On Saturday, September 27, 2025, shareholders will take part in the 41st Annual General Meeting of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ.

Why vote?

The Fonds de solidarité was created by and for workers. But since the adoption of new governance rules, it is no longer guaranteed that union representatives will hold a majority on the Board. Your vote is essential to ensure the Fund stays firmly rooted in the realities of working people.

How to vote

  • Online, by phone, by mail, by fax, or by email before Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 4:45 p.m., at tsxtrust.com/vote.
  • In person or online on the day of the meeting, Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 2:30 p.m., at the Sheraton Centre Montreal or via webcast at fondsftq.com/aga, using your 13-digit control number and the password fonds2025.

Union candidates to support

To ensure the Fund continues to represent workers’ voices, the FTQ encourages shareholders to include the following four candidates among their choices:

  • Loïc Breton, President, SEPB-Québec
  • Anouk Collet, Vice-President, FTQ (UFCW Canada)
  • Sylvie Nelson, President, SQEES-298
  • Éric Gingras, President, CSQ

By voting, you help keep the Fonds de solidarité true to its mission: growing workers’ savings while investing in a fairer, more inclusive economy.
