Dear Members,

Over the past few weeks, negotiations with the employer have intensified. Despite three exchanged offers, the employer’s salary proposals remain significantly insufficient and fall short of our expectations. Additionally, the employer is seeking setbacks on several conditions currently provided in the collective agreement. Clearly, the employer does not grasp the reality our members face in an increasingly challenging economic environment and seems unwilling to seriously consider our demands.

Your committee has heard the call: securing the maximum wage increases is our priority, and we are focusing our efforts on this goal.

Unless substantial progress is made at the bargaining table, union actions will need to be considered to defend our interests and assert the real and indispensable value of your work.

On December 7, during the special general assembly, we will need to make important decisions. Let’s come in large numbers and equip ourselves with the means to achieve what you deserve.

In solidarity,
