Building maintenance -Quebec Region: bargaining is coming up!

Dear members,

As you know, the master building maintenance collective agreement between the Service Employees Union local 800 (SEU 800) and the Corporation des entrepreneurs en entretien ménager de Québec (CEEMQ) will expire on November1st, 2025. This agreement applies to members working in building maintenance in one of the regions covered by the Decree of Québec.

Once the holiday season is over, the members of the negotiating committee and the representatives of the SEU 800 will meet to begin the consultation process. You will then be called to a general meeting so that we can adopt the list of union demands that will be submitted to the employers. Negotiations should then begin.

The stakes in these negotiations will be high. Il will be very important that you attend the general meeting in large numbers and mobilize to support the members of your negotiating committee. The more united we are, the more we can work to improve your working conditions, so that they are equal with the work you do and will be doing in 2025.

Stronger together! These three words will form the basis of our action to obtain a collective agreement that reflects the effort you put into your work.
