Women in Action Committee School Supplies Campaign

The Women in Action Committee of SEU 800 launched its first school supplies drive to help unionized families with whom we work and to enable more than twenty children to start the school year on the right foot. The committee solicited Union members, Staff and employers to collect school supplies and donations, which were used to distribute the school supplies. The committee thanks all those who participated for their generosity. “You can be sure that this wonderful solidarity action will be back next year,” says Suzy Beaudry, proudly in charge of the union’s Women in Action Committee.
