Agreement on the final texts and singing of the new collective agreement.
Montreal, June 10th, 2024 – The Service Employee Union, Local 800 (SEU 800) is proud to announce that after several weeks of meetings and intensive discussions with government spokespersons, the parties agreed on the final texts yesterday. This morning, we signed the new collective agreement for support staff members of SEU Local 800.
The government has informed us of its desire to make retroactive payments as soon as possible without giving us a precise date. According to article 11-5.03, the government has up to 60 days from signing the collective agreement to make the payment.
