“United so that our voices can be heard”… to restore social dialogue; to improve working conditions for workers with precarious status, including temporary foreign workers and asylum seekers; for actions to be taken to begin the energy transition and address the climate crisis; for us to apply remedies to the housing crisis together; for governments to finally listen to workers; to enable us to aspire to a life with dignity.
May 1st activities:
- Montreal: March at 5:30pm, gathering south of François-Perrault Park. (Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/1ermai/?locale=fr_CA)
- Outaouais: March at 4pm, gathering at Maison du citoyen. After the march, a festive gathering and concert are planned at the Minotaure bar;
- Quebec City: March at 5pm, meet at Parc Durocher (396 Saint-Vallier West St. Quebec City).
Happy Workers’ Day!
