Best Western Plus Gatineau – A 12% pay rise in the first year!

On January 8, members working at the ”Best Western Plus Gatineau” hotel ratified a new 5-year collective agreement by a large majority. These workers, all members of the SEU800, will see their wages increase by 12% in the first year of their contract, and by 2% for each of the following 4 years.

In addition to the advantageous salary increase, the negotiations also led to, among other things, an additional week’s vacation.
