Royal Ottawa Golf Club – agreement in principle accepted!

On June 19, Gatineau’s Royal Ottawa Golf Club members ratified a new 3-year contract. These workers, who are all members of the SEU800, will see their wages increase by $2 per hour for the first year of the collective agreement, and by 3% for each of the following two years.

Negotiations also secured an extra week’s vacation after 25 years of service, the addition of a day’s statutory holiday, and an increase in the guaranteed hours per week for full-time members.

The new collective agreement will be signed in the next few weeks and sent to members.
