5th annual meeting of the FTQ activists with different provincial deputies – SEU 800 was there!

Last March 15th, the “meeting of the activists with the deputies of the national assembly” took place.

The SEU repeated the experience this year, with a delegation of several members from the various divisions of our union.

During these meetings, the participants raise awareness among the deputies on the issues that are important for the workers that they represent.

This year we have discussed the following topics:

• The fight against inflation;
• Measures to be put in place for a just transition to a greener economy;
• Bill 27 on occupational health and safety;
• Universal drug coverage.

‘’For our activists, this day allows them to bring their message on several progressive issues related to the defence of the rights of the workers they represent,” said Pascale St-Antoine, union representative.
