Alsco Uniform and Linen Service LTD – Agreement in principle accepted

During a general assembly held last November 24th, the members of the SEU800 working for ALSCO UNIFORM AND LINEN SERVICE LTD approved at 78% the agreement in principle reached by the negotiating committee.
The negotiating committee, representing approximately 50 members, had presented the first offer a few weeks earlier which was refused by the members.
The four (4) year collective agreement, ending December 1, 2026, includes several monetary improvements. There is an improvement in vacation time, bonuses and seniority bonuses, external expenses as well as the reimbursement of safety boots.
Finally, the collective agreement provides for annual salary increases of 6% for the first year, 3% for the second, 2.5% for the third and 2% for the last year. In addition, the salary increases of the last two (2) years of the collective agreement will be protected against the CPI, should it exceed the planned increases.
