Bulletin
May 1st, under the theme “To live like people”

28 April 2022

This year was marked by a significant increase in the cost of living for Quebec households. We need to think of the price of gas, the price of housing and the price of groceries. These are just a few examples of why far too many workers are struggling to make ends meet.

Meanwhile, wages are stagnant and the minimum wage is still not enough to get people out of poverty. It is in this context that the members of the May 1st Coalition wanted to march this year under the theme ‘’To live like people’ on the occasion of the traditional May 1st march. A walk will take place in Montreal and several other activities will be held in the regions of Quebec.

Activities

Montreal: Sunday May 1st walk from 1pm to 3pm, gathering at Cabot Square
