The first of may, International Workers’ Day, is just around the corner! This year, the day of action will be on the following theme: Going out of the crisis healthy and safe.
Labour and community organizations will present five demands:
”Get out of the crisis with strong public services”,
”Get out of the crisis with a job that doesn’t make you sick”,
”Get out of the crisis with a decent job”,
”Get out of the crisis with enhanced rights”,
”Get out of the crisis with a real environmental commitment”.
- Montreal: Walk on Montreal’s streets
On Saturday, May the 1st, at 1 p.m. (beginning of the walk at 1:30 p.m.)
Meeting: La Fontaine Park (obelisk in Charles de Gaulle’s honor)

- Regions: the FTQ refers us to the regional councils to find out about their events (https://ftq.qc.ca/ftq-en-region/)
UES 800 will be meeting on the corners of Papineau and Sherbrooke Streets at 1 p.m.
