National Strike Day for members of the public sector

The SEU 800 members of English school boards rallied today on this National day of strike to put pressure on the government and move forward the negotiations at the central table.

Despite the conclusion of an agreement in principle at the sectorial table, there is no settlement yet at the central table, particularly with regard to wages and retirement.
